OSPF works with individuals, families, communities, and businesses on suicide prevention and after a suicide occurs.

Share a recent project, client success, or example of your work in action.

OSPF worked with AEP on a pilot project to distribute suicide prevention resources for their employees. This led to leadership not only adopting the resource strategy that we agreed on but also led to some in leadership sharing their story to break stigma.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

We work with researchers, legislators, and families on the needs around preventing suicide and mental health.

If you had to start over from scratch, what’s the first thing you’d do differently?

Market more to everyday people, as opposed to those in the field.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a business owner?

It’s not the outside that will kill you, it’s the inside. Basically, hire good people.

What makes a successful partnership at your company?

Win-win. As we continue to look for partnerships to reach more folks, we also want to be a partner that an organization or business is proud to work with.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Friendliness and relationships are easy to build.

What do you want people to remember about your business five years from now?

We care about all people and that we are reducing suicides in Ohio.
