How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
Ebee stays engaged in our industry by the following:

  • Strong partnerships – we value industry experts and the knowledge they bring to our client’s. We know our strengths really well but also know when it is best to bring in a partner to add additional value to our clients
  • Organizations –being part of industry focused organizations helps us stay up to date on different trends and policies
  • Open mindset – understanding the importance of innovating and adapting when needed. We have client’s in all industry types and it’s important for us to listen to their needs and be sure we are open to having to change our approach and or learn new things to ultimately deliver our services to them. For example, we have Cannabis clients and have had to learn every aspect of this emerging industry to be able to tailor our services to their unique needs.

What is your company culture like?
Our company believes in the simple motto of, “performance buys you freedom”. If you are able to tackle your tasks, produce sales and create value within the organization – then we have zero issue with you creating and managing your own schedule and lifestyle. In addition to that, we are completely transparent and always want honesty among colleagues. A new employee should have direct access to a partner and be able to express their thoughts and feelings openly in an effort to create a positive work environment.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
You have to be accountable, and you have to be persistent in everything that you do. We are not going to micromanage employees, but we do have measures in place that will track your performance and allows us to know if you are really performing or just getting by. We want everyone to feel valued and to thrive in their role – if you aren’t thriving then the organization has failed to identify a role that’s best for you.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
Columbus is an amazing market for our company for many reasons. Ebee thrives in its niche of working with owner operators and owner-occupied businesses. Ohio, and Columbus in particular, are full of owner operated commercial and industrial businesses who have a serious need for updating facilities in the most efficient and affordable way possible. Bottom-line, Ebee is your development partner, your financier, and your construction manager; filling gaps that limit an owner’s ability to successfully implement major updates to their facility.
