Mobile Air & Power Rentals provides a range of temporary equipment such as air conditioners, chillers, heaters, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filtration equipment. Our units are available on a temporary, rental basis, or for long-term needs. We also sell equipment directly.

Share a recent project, client success, or example of your work in action.

Most recently we provided weekend/ holiday emergency service for one of our customers who is a facilities manager for a group of nursing homes. Our customer, who is directly an employee of Brewer-Garrett, called me during Easter lunch to let me know that one of the facilities they manage, was having some problems with their buildings entire HVAC system and they would need some rentals there within a couple hours or they could face a situation where the State of Ohio could sue them for not keeping the facilities at state-mandated levels of safety/ temperatures. I picked up the call immediately, got the details from our BG rep and left to go home to call in our emergency support staff as well as getting him his quote together so we could get things moving as fast as possible. Once all of the paperwork was in line and our staff had all 29 units packed up, ready to go- we got our guys out there and had everything set up for them within 3 hours time. Our customer (BG) was ecstatic with our top-tier response time and is always willing to be used as a reference to explain how great working with Mobile Air can be!

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

In a business where uptime is critical, I focus on staying ahead of trends that impact reliability, availability, and speed of deployment. I also stay engaged by tracking equipment innovations, monitoring demand across industries like construction, facility/ building management, schools/ universities and healthcare, and staying in close contact with both vendors and customers so we’re always ready to respond to changing needs.

If you had to start over from scratch, what’s the first thing you’d do differently?

Apply more time to relationship building with our customers. Some of these things have to move so fast or there’s just so much going on at once, it makes it hard to really get to know the clientele I work with. I have made more efforts to try and get to know those people now, but I think it can always be helpful to make sure the people I work with know that I care who they are and not just about what they need from me.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a business owner?

People enjoy working with people they like, don’t take that for granted.

What makes a successful partnership at your company?

Good communication, pre-planning, trust and reliability.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Columbus is the second largest growing city in the United States as of now. That alone goes to show how many people are moving here, how businesses are migrating towards us and how much the city is going to boom in the next 15 years. Truly a business owners dream with unlimited potential.

What do you want people to remember about your business five years from now?

How reliable we are, knowing they can trust our expertise in what we do, knowing they love working with all of our sales reps because we show interest in both their work and personal life, our dedication to what we do, how we always seem to go above and beyond
