The Middle Market is the engine of our economy, but it is experiencing unprecedented technological disruption and global competition. What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We are excited about exploring all that the chamber offers in 2023, then, in 2024, we will focus on the areas where Fisher can add the most value to other chamber members. We’re already engaging in the Columbus Region Logistics Council. As we build our new People and Organizational Effectiveness offerings at Fisher, we expect to engage with the Talent and Workforce events. The networking opportunities provided by the chamber throughout the year look amazing. We can’t wait to meet our fellow members in the Columbus community.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

Fisher Management Partners is comprised of professionals who are passionate about business transformation. To help our clients achieve transformative results, we are constantly researching and reading and engaging in conversations with professionals in the industries and business functions that we serve. We also feel that sharing our research and knowledge is an important aspect of being active in the Columbus business community. You can see examples of this on our LinkedIn page.

What is your company culture like?

– Gather together to learn and connect at our semi-annual all company retreats.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

A successful consultant at Fisher Management Partners exhibits our core values in every interaction with clients, Fisher team members, service providers and the community. Additionally, our consultants have a desire to continually develop and improve, so we developed the Fisher Competency Model to support and enable personal growth and career development. Consultants evaluate themselves against the six dimensions of the Fisher Competency Model: Professional Intellect, Results Driven, Relationship Orientation, Personal Development, Core Consulting, and Practice Development. All consultants are expected to master some competencies in each of the six dimensions. As consultants move along in their careers with Fisher, they are expected to master more and more advanced competencies within the six dimensions. It’s a development process that builds on itself over time.
