Columbus Business Leaders Advance O-SCAN to Strengthen Ohio’s Supply Chain Talent Pipeline as Central Ohio Faces Record Growth | O-SCAN

February 24th, 2026

Business-led coalition aligns employers, educators, and workforce so employers can hire with confidence

COLUMBUS, OH — February 20, 2026 — The Ohio Supply Chain Academic Network (O-SCAN), an Industry Sector Partnership established in early 2025, is continuing its mission to strengthen Central Ohio’s talent pipeline across logistics, distribution, and related supply chain careers.

O-SCAN’s work is supported in part by Governor Mike DeWine’s office through State of Ohio Industry Sector Partnership grant funding to help launch and expand supply chain and logistics workforce collaboration in Central Ohio.

After spending the last few years building the foundation of the partnership, O-SCAN is now entering its next phase with an official public launch and expanded business engagement efforts, including a Launch Reception in March featuring drinks, networking, and a brief program to introduce its mission and unite cross-sector partners.

O-SCAN’s mission is to turn historic investment and job growth into a durable workforce advantage. The coalition will promote supply chain careers, align training with in-demand skills, and connect students to clear career pathways, all while strengthening Ohio’s competitiveness.

Ohio is winning projects and creating opportunities and the time to prepare talent is now,” said Josh Compton, O-SCAN leadership team; ClearView Management Resources. “O-SCAN gives employers a direct voice in what’s taught, builds awareness of modern supply chain careers, and helps companies hire with confidence as growth accelerates.

Through employer roundtables, educator partnerships, and targeted outreach, O-SCAN helps members:

  • Promote careers through student- and parent-friendly content and events
  • Shape training and curriculum around real job skills and credentials
  • Connect learners to pathways from career-technical education and short-term credentials to college and careers
  • Strengthen Ohio’s global competitiveness through aligned industry and education collaboration

O-SCAN is collaborating with founding partners including EASE Logistics, ClearView Management Resources, IMC Logistics, Columbus Region Logistics Council (Columbus Chamber of Commerce), Sedlak Supply Chain Consultants, and Accel, Inc. to amplify employer needs and accelerate curriculum alignment, credential adoption, and work-based learning.
