The Salvation Army Assists Flood-Affected Residents as Recovery Efforts Continue Across Central Ohio | The Salvation Army in Central Ohio

[COLUMBUS, Ohio] – As communities across Ohio continue to respond to the impacts of severe flooding caused by recent heavy rainfall, The Salvation Army in Central Ohio is actively supporting residents affected by the storm through emergency disaster response efforts.

According to the latest statewide situational report from the Ohio Emergency Management Agency, The Salvation Army is providing food, water and cleanup supplies to residents in a flood-impacted neighborhood along Blacklick Creek in Franklin County as damage assessments begin and recovery efforts continue.

The flooding event has resulted in evacuations, water rescues, road closures and extensive recovery operations across multiple Ohio counties. While conditions have begun to improve in some areas, many families now face the difficult work of cleaning their homes and rebuilding their lives. The Salvation Army is working alongside local emergency management officials and community partners to help meet immediate needs and support long-term recovery efforts.
