Community encouraged to donate needed supplies through Thursday, August 14 to score free Icee

COLUMBUS, OHIO – With Back-to-School season officially here, Polaris Fashion Place is helping the Columbus community prepare for the 2025-26 school year with a number of initiatives – Tax Free Holiday shopping, a KidX Back to School Bash, and a school supply donation drive!

“The start of a new academic year is always an exciting time for families and children in our community,” said Tamra Bower, General Manager at Polaris Fashion Place. “We’re proud to be part of the season, from Back-to-School shopping to unique kid-friendly events that prepare students for a new year and giving back to the community through our annual School Supply Drive.”

Families are encouraged to shop Polaris Fashion Place’s (newly extended) Tax-Free Holiday, which allows guests to shop for items exempt from sales tax, from Friday, August 1 to Thursday, August 14.

Polaris Fashion Place invites children ages 12 and under and their families to join in on a KidX Back to School Bash, Friday, August 8 from 5pm – 7:15pm, sponsored by Destination Delaware and Aqua-Tots.  As seen on America’s Got Talent, the ZOOperstars will bring their wacky inflatable family show to the mall, performing live on stage in Center Court.

New this year, the Back to School campaign is sponsored by Big Air Trampoline Park, and to ensure every local student and teacher is prepared for the new school year, Polaris Fashion Place is hosting its annual School Supply Drive!  Guests may donate essential school supply items at the Big Air Trampoline Park front desk from August 1 through August 14, coinciding with the Tax Free Holiday window.  Each guest who donates a school supply item can get a FREE Icee at Big Air Trampoline Park!  All items donated will benefit Westerville City Schools.
