Astra Rooftop Opens in Columbus with “Fire in the Sky” Grand Opening Event Chef-driven rooftop restaurant debuts with a charity celebration in partnership with Buckeye Cruise for Cancer | AC Hotel Downtown Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH — A new era of rooftop dining begins this July with the highly anticipated opening of Astra, an experiential rooftop restaurant located on the 8th floor of the AC Marriott Columbus Downtown at 517 Park St. 

For our grand opening night on July 10th, we are going to have a ticketed event called Fire in the Sky. Each ticket will include: access to the event, two (2) drink tickets per person + passed appetizers all evening including our signature Flaming Steak. The event will include fire dancers, DJ sets, and photo ops! Be the first inside Astra. Buy your opening night tickets here. 

Astra officially opens to the public for service on Friday, July 11. Reservations now available via OpenTable. Astra will continue its grand opening weekend with fire dancers and music throughout the weekend. Guests are encouraged to secure reservations early.

Led by Director of Culinary Branden Weigl of esteemed Forno and Director of Operations, Hans Maggard, a Columbus native with ties to award-winning beverage programs in Austin, TX, Astra is built around elevated flavors, playful, yet grand presentations, and warm hospitality. Signature items include a flaming tomahawk steak and table-side flaming cantaritos, served in a lush, transportive setting where the view is just the beginning.
