Purdy Company has been a trusted distributor in the storage and material handling space since 1950. We provide our customer base with products, solutions, and installation services  that are specifically tailored to meet the goals and objectives for each unique project. Our products and solutions range from standard pallet rack, storage cabinets, lockers, custom mezzanines, modular buildings and wire partition. Our goal is to make the workplace safe, productive, efficient and organized, which sets Purdy Company apart from the competition.

The Mission at Purdy Company is to provide best in class customer service through value-added design, procurement and installation of product and material. By partnering with the best suppliers in the industry and utilizing a team of talented installation technicians, quality products installed in your facility will last for years to come.  

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We are looking forward to connecting with other members to share our story.  As the logistics, manufacturing and distribution field grows in central Ohio, Purdy Company feels that we have a great team of professionals who’s years of experience and craftsmanship would be a benefit to other members who are realizing growth during these exciting times.  

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

Staying engaged with our customers and vendors is vital, as we serve a multitude of industries and segments within each industry. Attend a few important trade shows to learn about new products and solutions, as well as articles and LinkedIn posts.  

What is your company culture like?

Purdy Company is a small business that values all employees’ personal and professional lives. We are a tight knit team in which everyone wears multiple hats, providing world class customer service that is paramount in setting us apart in our industry.  

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

A successful employee needs to be extremely customer focused, taking into account each customers’ individual needs and requirements, must be flexible and willing to wear multiple hats.  We take our work seriously, but having fun along the way is key to success.  

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Columbus is one of the fastest growing cities in the Country, it is exciting to be a part of it providing our knowledge and expertise as existing businesses grow, and welcoming new businesses to the area.
