Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services

ECS provides Managed IT Services including cyber security and cloud collaborations tools to a pretty dynamic range of verticals/industries.

We have specific expertise in hospitality and retail point of sales solutions and payment security. We find businesses in that industry to be underserved when they experience meaningful grown and we enjoy being there to help when the time comes.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values

We want to help create success for our clients, which will, in turn, create success for the people at e-Coast. We treat our clients like we would like to be treated, and that sets the expectations for a mutually beneficial relationship. We want our clients to see us as partners they are excited to turn to when they need help.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

Collaboration and guidance from fellow members/peers will be important to us as we are “new” to the area.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

We are constantly looking for new innovations from a security and collaboration tools standpoint to help ourselves internally and our client’s. We also spend a lot of time within our customer’s industry organization activities and trade shows. We learn about their needs and help educate from a security and process improvement standpoint.

What is your company culture like?

We have a company motto. “Sometimes things are easy and sometimes they are hard. Take both in stride. We believe we are better together. We work in the office together and encourage everyone to make their ideas heard. We like to “lab things out” and find new ways to be better.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

To be successful at ECS, you can’t be afraid to jump in with your own ideas. Work ethic is also a must. You don’t always have to work super hard, but when it’s that time, you have to show up.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

The people of the city itself. I am from Central Ohio, and I moved to South Carolina 20 years ago. But I always like coming home to Midwest sensibility.
