Share a recent project, client success, or example of your work in action.
One of my favorite recent wins was working with a school and church facility that had very specific cleaning needs depending on the day and season. Instead of offering a one-size-fits-all plan, I built a customized schedule that adjusted between school-year and summer usage. It allowed them to stay within budget while still maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. That’s really what we aim to do at Corvus—create solutions that actually fit how a building is used, not just what’s typical.
How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
I stay engaged by being out in the field and listening closely to what clients actually need. Lately, there’s been a big focus on health, disinfection, and accountability, so I make sure I’m educated on products, processes, and systems that support that. I also stay connected with my team and leadership to continuously refine how we deliver value, not just service.
If you had to start over from scratch, what’s the first thing you’d do differently?
I would spend less time overthinking and more time getting in front of people early on. In sales, confidence and consistency matter more than perfection. The more conversations you have, the faster you learn what works, what doesn’t, and how to truly connect with clients.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a business owner?
The best advice I’ve received is that people don’t just buy a service—they buy trust. Once I shifted my focus from “selling” to building genuine relationships and solving real problems, everything changed in a positive way.
What makes a successful partnership at your company?
A successful partnership comes down to communication, consistency, and accountability. We want our clients to feel like we’re an extension of their team. That means being responsive, proactive, and willing to adjust as their needs change over time.
What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
Columbus has a strong mix of growing businesses, established organizations, and a supportive community. There’s a lot of opportunity here, and people value relationships. It’s a city where you can truly build connections, not just transactions, which makes a big difference in long-term success.
What do you want people to remember about your business five years from now?
I want people to remember that we were reliable, easy to work with, and truly cared about the spaces we serviced. Not just that we cleaned buildings—but that we made their environments better for their employees, customers, and communities.
