The Somos Latin-OH 5K is a dynamic run/walk event focused on promoting health and wellness in the Latino community while celebrating culture, movement, and connection. This family-friendly event will feature a warm- up dance session, a scenic 5K along the riverfront, and a lively post-run celebration with E| Mercadito, showcasing _atino-owned vendors, healthy food options, music, and free health resources.
Designed for runners and walkers of al ages and ftness levels, the Somos Latin-OH 5K creates an inclusive, joyful space where participants can prioritize their health while honoring their heritage. From energizing music to cultural vendors and community resources, this event brings together everything that makes our comunidad strong resilience, joy, and togetherness.
Open throughout the event, El Mercadito and the Health Resource Fair will create a vibrant, interactive space where wellness meets cultura. Stroll through El Mercadito, our lively pop-up market featuring Latino-owned businesses offering handmade goods, cultural treasures, and fresh, healthy bites. Right alongside, explore our Health Resource Fair, where local organizations will provide free health screenings, educational materials, and wellness tools for all ages.
From the first warm-up beat to the final cool-down dance, these spaces will be open to the community inviting you to shop, learn, connect, and celebrate our culture and health, together.
