Miller Prosthetics Launches Mobile Prosthetic Service to Improve Accessibility and Patient Convenience | Miller Prosthetics & Orthotics

[Dublin, Ohio] — Miller Prosthetics is proud to announce the launch of its new Mobile Prosthetic Service, bringing personalized prosthetic care directly to patients in their homes, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, workplaces, and community settings throughout Central Ohio.

The new mobile service was created to remove barriers to care and provide greater convenience for individuals living with limb loss or limb difference. By delivering prosthetic evaluations, adjustments, fittings, follow-up care, and consultations on-site, Miller Prosthetics aims to make high-quality prosthetic care more accessible and patient-centered than ever before.

“Navigating life after amputation is very difficult. My goal is to make the process as easy as I possibly can, not only for the patient, but their care team as well. This includes their doctors, therapists, and family members or friends,” said Alex Miller, CPO. “With our mobile service, we can provide expert prosthetic care in a comfortable and familiar environment. This also helps to bring a team approach to the situation, leading to greater outcomes for each of our patients”

The mobile unit is designed to support a wide range of patient needs, including:

• Initial prosthetic consultations  
• Socket and fit adjustments and repairs
• Follow-up appointments  
• Functional assessments  
• Collaboration with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers  
• Education for patients and caregivers  

Miller Prosthetics believes that prosthetic care should extend beyond the clinic walls. By seeing patients in real-world environments, clinicians can better understand each individual’s daily challenges and goals, leading to more personalized and functional outcomes.
