Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services

Wellness Collective partners with organizations to create healthier, more connected workplaces through customized employee wellness programs. Our services include educational sessions, onsite fitness classes, wellness challenges and campaigns, health coaching, employee health fairs, and leadership development experiences. We make workplace wellness engaging, accessible, and adaptable to each organization’s culture, goals, and workforce.

Describe your company in three words

Engaging. Personalized. Transformative.

Share a recent project, client success, or example of your work in action.

Through our partnership with South Central Power, Wellness Collective provides employees with personalized, one-on-one health coaching focused on sustainable lifestyle changes. Participants have reported meaningful progress, including weight loss, improved nutrition habits, and healthier ways of managing stress. Seeing employees turn practical guidance into lasting improvements is a powerful example of workplace wellness in action.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

We stay current by actively participating in industry conferences, leadership forums, and continuing education opportunities. This year, we attended the OhioHealth Employer Solutions Annual Leadership Forum and will participate in the Wellness Alliance Annual Wellness Summit in Nashville. These experiences help us explore emerging research, workplace wellness trends, and best practices so we can continually adapt our programs to meet employees’ evolving needs across different ages, demographics, work environments, and stages of life.

If you had to start over from scratch, what’s the first thing you’d do differently?

I would identify our core strengths sooner and build strategic partnerships with organizations whose expertise complements our own. We have evolved from a “we can do it all” mindset to a clearer understanding of the distinct strengths and value our team brings to clients. That focus allows us to deliver exceptional experiences while collaborating with trusted partners to provide the right resources and expertise for each organization.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a business owner?

“One project at a time. One day at a time.” As someone with big ideas who is always finding new ways to serve our clients, I’ve learned that I cannot do everything at once—or do it all myself. Delegating to a trusted team and recognizing that what I can accomplish each day is enough helps me stay focused, present, and purposeful as we grow.

What makes a successful partnership at your company?

A successful partnership begins with listening, trust, and open communication. We take the time to understand each client’s workforce, culture, goals, and challenges rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution. The strongest partnerships are collaborative: we bring our wellness expertise, our clients share what their employees truly need, and together we create programs that are engaging, accessible, and meaningful.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Columbus has an incredibly supportive and connected business community. It is large enough to offer tremendous opportunities, yet still feels small enough for people to build genuine relationships, make meaningful introductions, and enthusiastically refer one another. That collaborative spirit makes it a wonderful place for local businesses to grow and succeed together.

What do you want people to remember about your business five years from now?

We want people to remember that Wellness Collective helped individuals discover meaningful ways to live and work well. By helping organizations build cultures of inclusion, connection, and belonging, we strive to ensure employees feel seen, valued, and heard—because that is when people can truly thrive, both at work and beyond. We also hope people leaders recognize that investing in their people is one of the most valuable investments an organization can make.
