Nationwide, we protect the hard work of our middle-market commercial, small business, and personal insurance clients, focusing on improving their risk profile and controlling cost. What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
We are looking forward to getting involved in events, networking with member connections, and sharing our leadership thoughts and insight.
How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
We continuously research the latest insurance trends with our fellow industry professionals. Many times, the world trends affect our industry. Therefore, we are researching ways to make sure our clients are informed and protected. In addition, we use resources like Zywave that provide collateral and informational pieces for both our use and our clients.
What is your company culture like?
We are a family oriented company. We believe that our staff should feel they can rely on their colleagues and managers like family. Our culture is shown in many ways throughout all our different offices. We have holiday parties, annual meetings bi-yearly, luncheons and fun activities throughout the year. We are a collection of community-based agencies, with a handful of larger offices. Staying connecting to those communities and giving back, drives a lot of culture.
What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
A successful employee at our company is one that shows up every day giving their best quality of work, speaking up when they can add value, and always supporting others in their workspace. Working well with both team members and clients is a principle in our company. We highly encourage team members to reach out to anyone from peers to leadership when they need help.
What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
The past and future growth of Columbus makes it a great place to do business. Many businesses have begun and continued roots in Columbus, providing resources for others to grow as well. While it’s the capital, Columbus can still have a small feel in connections and relationships.
