We recently supported a federal program leader in delivering a high-level annual report that required submission to the Department of Defense, Congress, and the White House. Our team played a key role in managing reporting requirements, refining metrics, and supporting the administration of a complex royalties program for scientists and inventors. Through our structured, results-driven approach, we helped streamline critical processes, improve clarity across deliverables, and ensure everything was completed accurately and on time. This partnership reflects our ability to step into complex environments, quickly understand the client’s mission, and allowing our client to focus on advancing its mission while we ensure operational excellence behind the scenes.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

Continuous learning is part of our culture. We stay engaged through executive forums, industry partnerships, emerging technologies, government initiatives, and professional development. More importantly, we evaluate trends through the lens of practical application, helping clients distinguish between what’s innovative and what’s truly transformational.

If you had to start over from scratch, what’s the first thing you’d do differently?

If we were starting over, we would invest earlier in strategic relationships, key certifications, and scalable systems. While certifications such as the SBA 8(a) Program accelerated our growth, building the right partnerships and infrastructure from day one would have positioned us to scale even faster.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a business owner?

The best advice I’ve received is to intentionally build the right team around your business—not just internally, but externally as well. Every business owner should have a strong BAIL Team: a trusted Banker, Accountant, Insurance professional, and Lawyer. These advisors provide the financial, legal, and strategic foundation that allows you to make confident decisions, manage risk, and seize opportunities with confidence. Pair that with a business operating system that keeps your team aligned and accountable, and you create an environment where great things can happen. No successful business is built alone. When you surround yourself with the right people—both inside and outside your organization—you can turn vision into reality and accomplish far more than you ever imagined.
