Change is HeartWork is an executive coaching and leadership transformation practice that includes speaking engagements and events. We partner with executives and senior leaders standing at the threshold of what’s next — helping them lead with courage, clarity, and heart through our signature HEART Work Model framework.

Share a recent project, client success, or example of your work in action.

I’m currently coaching an executive at the threshold of what’s next — a leader who has moved powerfully between corporate and academia. My role is to guide her through the personal transformation that’s part of her becoming.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

Through active membership in ICF, ACMP Global and the Transform ecosystem, ongoing peer collaboration with other executive coaches, and staying close to what senior leaders are actually navigating — not just what the coaching industry is talking about.

If you had to start over from scratch, what’s the first thing you’d do differently?

I’d trust the identity work sooner. Twenty-five years in corporations, from first-level leadership to the executive seat, taught me that sustainable change starts on the inside. My one wish is I’d built HeartWork around that truth from day one instead of arriving at it.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as a business owner?

No title defines who you are. You are whole and complete already.

What makes a successful partnership at your company?

Double opt-in trust. Both sides are genuinely invested before any work begins. I believe in powerful connections and relationships. The right partnerships show up when the value is mutual and clear.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Columbus is the melting pot of change, notably in the tech industry. Through consortiums like OhioX, innovation from The Ohio State University, and a relentless startup energy, this city is proof that growth and humanity aren’t mutually exclusive. That’s the exact intersection where HeartWork lives.

What do you want people to remember about your business five years from now?

That we helped Columbus leaders return to themselves — and led their organizations from that place.
