Seasonal Gallery Collaboration Event on 9/5/25 @5-8PM | Edwards Companies

There is an exciting evening of arts & culture coming up this Friday, September 5th from 5-8PM – see attached Media Advisory for more details.
6 of the Galleries in the Gay Street Neighborhood are staying open late and having a coordinated, seasonal collaboration event, heralding the start to the new fall season! They will all be showcasing unique exhibits – several just opening this night — and offering exciting in-person experiences.
Of course the neighborhood overall will be alive and vibrant with a myriad of bustling restaurants, unique retail spaces and also local musicians performing on the corner of Gay & High as the beautiful Current lights up the night.
This will be the perfect setting for a date night, friends’ night out and just to stroll with a DORA beverage and to check out all that the galleries and neighborhood has to offer!

Gallery highlights include:
Sarah Gormley Gallery: Opening of Quiet Precision featuring new works by Kirby Fredendall and Craig Carlisle (both will be in attendance)
No Place Gallery: Flat File Friday with music from Primitive Pleasures and DJ Samson Habte; (flyer by Spencer Peterson)
A one-day event showcasing original prints, drawings, and works on paper by artists we love and collaborate with.
Flat File Friday will take place alongside both exhibitions—Lateral Slip by Miranda Holmes in Gallery A and Material Mythologies 2 in Gallery B. These exhibitions will be on view through September 20th.
Brandt Gallery/Pecha Projects:
- Columbus-based artist Andrea Myers, one of nine artists featured in our current exhibition “From the Ground Up” will be present in the gallery with a pop-up paper-making studio. Don’t miss this opportunity to see the artist at work as well as her remarkable work on view.

Hammond Harkins: Opening reception for Serious Play featuring works by Karen Snouffer
Additional neighborhood activations include:
- A Duck Fat Martini from Chouette, created in collaboration with No Place Gallery
- Rosalita’s preview at Veritas, offering a sneak peek of dishes from the upcoming restaurant concept
- New shops like Restalgic Atelier, part of downtown’s Ground Floor Growth Program
- Live music by Chris Shaw

Following a successful premier event in June, this quarterly series will continue in 2026 on Jan. 16 and April 17, with additional seasonal dates to follow.
