Fair Chance Employer Symposium | Nationwide Children’s Hospital Inc.

April 30 @ 9:00 am 3:00 pm

Franklin County area EMPLOYERS are invited to learn about second chance hiring and the best practices for hiring justice‑impacted talent!

About:

Franklin County area employers are invited to this special, day-long event on “The Business of Second Chances: Advancing Employment Opportunities for Every Resident”. This event will highlight fair chance hiring best practices with a spotlight on the benefits of employing justice‑impacted talent.

It is estimated that well over 60% of individuals reentering from correctional facilities will remain unemployed at least a year beyond their release. This reality is not only a threat to successful reintegration, it is not economically sustainable. Join us for a day-long series of impactful conversations focused on the realities of fair chance hiring and the opportunities it creates for all involved.

Throughout the event, you will:

  • Navigate compliant hiring protocols that expand your talent pool
  • Learn about tools that protect your organization while promoting equity
  • Debunk myths surrounding fair chance employment
  • Hear from local peers who have successfully implemented inclusive hiring models
  • Explore partnerships and resources rooted in community-wide strategy

Important Registration Note:

Space is limited. Employers are asked to limit their attendance to 2 people from their company. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Each attendee must register individually using their own name and email address. Please do not register on behalf of others. This helps us keep our guest list accurate and ensures everyone receives important event information directly.
