Columbus Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Ailsa Woodring as Director of Events

An accomplished event professional with over a decade of experience across the entertainment, esports, retail, and corporate sectors, Ailsa brings a proven track record of designing and delivering experiences that connect people, strengthen brands, and drive engagement.

In her new role, Ailsa will lead the Columbus Chamber’s event strategies – developing and executing events that inform, connect, and inspire the business community. Her appointment underscores the Chamber’s commitment to creating dynamic experiences that foster collaboration, spark ideas, and celebrate the people and businesses driving the Columbus Region’s growth.

“Ailsa’s creativity, logistical expertise, and client-focused approach make her the ideal leader to elevate our events,” said Mallory Roth, Vice President of Business Experience at the Columbus Chamber. “We’re excited for the innovation, energy, and impact she will bring to our members and community.”

A Buffalo, New York native and Capital University graduate, Ailsa is known for her proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and her ability to transform ideas into seamless, memorable experiences. Throughout her career, she has managed everything from high-profile entertainment events to large-scale corporate activations, always with an eye toward delivering value for both hosts and attendees.
