Columbus Chamber of Commerce Celebrates the All American Quarter Horse Congress as a Driver of Regional Growth

October 7th, 2025

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes the All American Quarter Horse Congress (Congress), the world’s largest single-breed horse show, as a powerful contributor to the prosperity and growth of the Columbus Region.

Each year, the Congress attracts hundreds of thousands of participants and visitors from across the globe, bringing with them significant economic impact for local businesses – from hotels, restaurants, and retailers to transportation providers and service industries.

“The Congress is more than a premier equestrian event,” said Derrick R. Clay, President and CEO of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a showcase of how world-class events strengthen our economy, highlight Columbus as a destination city, and provide opportunities for our small businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive.”

“We’re deeply grateful for the support and enthusiasm of the Columbus Region business community,” said Kelli Diaz, President of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. “The Columbus Chamber’s recognition of the All American Quarter Horse Congress and its economic influence helps shine a light on the thousands of local businesses that make this event possible.”

The Chamber commends the organizers of the All American Quarter Horse Congress and the many partners whose collaboration ensures the event’s continued success. Together, we celebrate the role this event plays in fueling growth, fostering connections, and positioning the Columbus Region as a hub for business and cultural excellence.
