Columbus Chamber of Commerce Awards $40,000 in Small Business Grants

At the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to drive prosperity and growth in the Columbus Region – and that means tackling barriers that hold our businesses back. Through the work of our Columbus Chamber of Commerce Foundation, we’ve learned that one of the biggest barriers small businesses face is access to capital, especially when a crisis hits or when a big opportunity suddenly appears.  

That’s why we created the Small Business Resilience Fund – a safety net for entrepreneurs. This fund provides $2,500 grants to small businesses dealing with unexpected operating costs or ready to seize a growth opportunity they couldn’t reach without a little extra help.  

At last week’s 101st Annual Clambake & Lobster Feast, we announced $40,000 in grants to local small businesses, in hopes of empowering each of them as essential parts of our local economy.
