Optimum Technology’s Nicole Jackson Selected as One of Forty Americans to Participate in the European UnionArtificial Intelligence Act Meetings | Optimum Technology

Optimum Technology, Inc. is proud to share that its AI Practice, Principal Consultant
Nicole Jackson has been selected to participate in the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act Code to Practice Plenary as an individual contributor.
The first General-Purpose AI Code of Practice, which can be found at https://digitalstrategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/ai-code-practice, will outline rules for providers of general-purpose AI models, including those with potential systemic risks. The European AI Office is leading this initiative, working with nearly 1,000 stakeholders, including independent experts, EU member states, and both European and international observers.
Nicole Jackson shared her enthusiasm, “Contributing to this important project will deepen our expertise and strengthen our position within the AI industry in the U.S. It’s clear that the EU’s approach to privacy and trustworthy AI systems often sets the tone for global standards. This opportunity will further reinforce our leadership in shaping the future of AI”
