March 10, 2023 – Powell, OH – Optimum Technology, Inc., announces it will be participating in a by invitation only Criminal Justice Summit, in person at the White House in Washington, DC on Wednesday , March 15th, 2023.
The White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) invited Optimum Technology to discuss “…best practices in supporting law enforcement with software development, design, and deployment…” said Patrick Clowney, PhD, White House Leadership Development Program Fellow.
The Summit is an extension of the Administration’s commitment to criminal justice reform and making communities safer and aims to bring the voices of software companies and software vendors into this conversation. Additionally representatives from academia, representatives from technology groups, the General Services Administration, Department of Justice, and use of force experts will also be invited to meet with the U.S. Chief Data Scientist and her team during the Summit said Patrick.
