Motz Engineering delivers optimal cost- and energy-efficient design by connecting deep scientific knowledge with our skillful understanding of applied engineering systems. This combination of skill and knowledge connects our full understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and commissioning requirements with innovative, reliable and affordable, best in class engineering solutions.

Our goal is simple: to make connections through excellent quality service

We’re there for our clients and partners. They are fully invested in their facilities, and so are we. We seek to understand facility wants and needs, even identifying new, unique solutions to ongoing issues. We also won’t disappear once construction starts; we believe the best construction administrator is someone who worked on that exact project since day one. This field-oriented approach sets us apart in the industry as boots-on-the-ground engineers.

Vision: Disrupting the traditional engineering consulting industry.

Mission: Provide professional engineering services across the United States for signature projects, using our nationally recognized project delivery method.

Values: Entrepreneurship: Our tenacious entrepreneurial spirit pushes us to create and seize opportunity. Because we are not afraid of failure, we will “never know that we couldn’t.”

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
We are looking forward to connecting and engaging with other members of the Columbus Chamber Community. We are also eager to attend Chamber events and to develop our leadership skills from programs led by the Chamber.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
Innovation, out-of-the-box thinking, and anticipating problems (followed by anticipating solutions) are the best ways to predict trends in our industry. We strive to answer complex problems with simple, innovative solutions. We believe innovation is enhanced by continuously reviewing customer feedback. Ongoing, continuous relationships with our clients make this possible. Our goal is to anticipate and not be complacent.

What is your company culture like?
Motivated, energetic, and ambitious are a few words I would use to describe the culture at Motz. Motz takes on the role of a young and driven firm, despite the fact we are 85 years old. We are constantly looking to grow and improve ourselves, both on an individual basis and as a firm. Every employee is a leader at Motz Engineering.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
An adaptable attitude is the best way to be successful at Motz Engineering. As the world changes, we also learn to adapt and grow as professionals in the industry. This take an open-minded person with a hunger for knowledge.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
Columbus is a growing and incredibly diverse community of professionals. We are excited to begin our journey as a business in Columbus with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce.
