Helios Security is a Columbus-based managed cybersecurity service provider and consultancy with a focus on solving problems for our clients.  We specialize in providing cybersecurity advisory services such as vulnerability assessments and web application security assessments.  We also provide robust security services including 24×7 managed endpoint detection and response (anti-malware), email security, and web security.  We focus on providing low-friction services and guiding organizations to achieve the best ROI in risk reduction.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values

Helios Security’s mission is to help clients bridge the cybersecurity talent gap.  We feel that premium cybersecurity services shouldn’t be out of reach for SMBs and traditional enterprises who may not have the resources or experience to maintain a cybersecurity program.  As long-time in-house practitioners, we understand the unique challenges IT and security teams experience daily.  We help businesses create, optimize or augment their security programs through a combination of managed services and assessments tailored to their needs.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We’re especially excited about the Chamber’s networking events and programs. Building relationships with local business owners and entrepreneurs allows us to better understand the unique security challenges faced by different industries in our region. We also look forward to the Chamber’s advocacy and resources that can connect us with potential partners and customers who value our expertise in cybersecurity.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

Staying ahead of cybersecurity threats requires constant vigilance. Our team regularly attends industry conferences, participates in security-focused webinars, and engages in continuous training to keep our skills and perspective current.  We are constantly researching new threats to ensure that our services are aligning with the real-world problems our clients are facing.  We believe that our laser focus on the cybersecurity landscape sets us apart from general IT MSPs who may cater to a wider array of IT needs.
