Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services

The mission of Fund The Climb Foundation is to remove barriers that stand in the way of patients seeking treatment for the brain disease of addiction. These barriers include lack of safe, sober housing, transportation to treatment, lack of insurance, and food and personal hygiene needs.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values

Most patients served by Fund The Climb Foundation have only the bag they walk in with to treatment. Our mission is to support them while they are in treatment, so that they have a fair chance at recovery. Every dollar spent in treatment saves the community $27 in hospital costs, court costs, foster care costs, etc. Our vision is to give patients who desire treatment a fair chance to reach their goals and become healthy and productive individuals, which in turn strengthens our communities.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

As a member of the Columbus Chamber, we look forward to networking, marketing and visibility, and support services.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

We are involved with a wide variety of individuals and professional organizations that help us stay abreast of current trends in not only the nonprofit space but also in the addiction treatment space. We are active in local community events and seek input and information on how to best fulfill our mission. With social media, we have access to great publications and idea sharing from our peers.

What is your company culture like?

We are a patient-focused foundation determined to provide the support that is needed for our population to feel their best, get the fair chance that they deserve to receive quality treatment, and reach the goals they have set for themselves to become healthy and whole members of our community.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

A successful employee is one who is laser focused on the mission of our foundation, who has a passion to help others in need, and who possesses an unquestionable work ethic.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Columbus has its finger on the pulse of the opioid epidemic and the addiction crisis that plagues a critical number of members in our community. The city is committed to making an impact in changing that, with an abundant number of individuals, organizations and businesses with whom to partner. This gives us inspiration and hope as we, too, take on this challenge.
