Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services

Frankart Film is a full-service video production company. Since 2009, we’ve worked with brands to produce quality content nationwide. Our industry coverage ranges from retail and consumer products to restaurants, automotive, healthcare, education, as well as nonprofits and associations.

Our services include consulting, storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing, still photography, aerial footage with a licensed drone operator and beyond.

Our process is customized to fit each organization’s individual needs. With a brilliant, multifaceted crew seamlessly navigating pre- and post-production milestones, we deliver a collaborative approach to commercials, recruitment and training videos, product demonstrations, keynote presentations, partnership testimonials, event coverage, and social media content.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values

Whether collaborating with agencies or directly with brands, we have a singular goal – to provide visual storytelling in the most authentic and impactful way. 

We highly value quality work that’s delivered on time and in budget. We want to be a long-term resource. Because of that desire, I’m so proud to say our relationships with both clients and crew members are lasting.

That’s our foundation and it’s a testament to our quality, our ability and our work ethic. A rarity, especially in film, we are also a woman-led and owned business.

We have honed our craft, perfected our execution, and proudly earned our stripes. We approach every project with a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail; ensuring that each frame delivers.

Frankly put though, we just love what we do. Working with businesses allows us to do a job that we absolutely adore. We feel so lucky that we get to say that every day.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We’re excited to get to know our other Chamber members and celebrate our great city!

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

Our belief system is that nothing good happens in a vacuum. The best approach and / or best idea always wins.

We also have great relationships with crew members in other parts of the country, including my homestate of California. For that local connect, we’re also active in Columbus’ monthly indie filmmaker meetups.

These relationships provide a wealth of information for our day-to-day execution of projects. It also takes a curious mind to learn and adopt new ideas, which is something we always encourage in our crew members and interns; stay curious.

What is your company culture like?

We work hard but we, our crew and our clients, have so much fun doing it. It’s always a labor of love.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

We enjoy self-starters who are experts in their field but who use those talents to always support the bigger picture – our clients’ vision and executing that vision safely and on time.

Aristotle said, “…the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” and that especially holds true in filmmaking.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Opportunity abounds in Columbus, Ohio!

It’s a large city with a small town feel. It’s a city of accessibility in so many forms, and industry is thriving.

I admire the people of Columbus –– their determination, passion and creativity –– but also infrastructure to support large and small businesses alike. Columbus is rapidly growing and it’s because of its people and this inherent strength.
