Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services

CancerBridge supports employees and their immediate family with cancer diagnosis through navigation services, and we provide health and wellness education programs focused on prevention and early detection. Our service includes access to a team of dedicated oncology nurses that listen, provide guidance regarding cancer questions and concerns, and help with next steps.

Tell us about your company’s mission and values

At CancerBridge, our mission is to help employers support employees and their family members during a cancer diagnosis, and to improve awareness through health and wellness education. We provide guidance and resources specific to each patient.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We are excited about the opportunity to participate in the Experience Series and to learn more about BizLeads, a prospecting tool offered through the Columbus Chamber. At CancerBridge, we understand the importance of building connections to better understand local, regional, and national markets.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

We invest time researching and dissecting internal/external data. Our company understands that cancer is different for everybody. One commonality between cancer and industry trends is that both are constantly evolving. We stay in engaged with HR leaders, and this has helped us better understand the needs of employers and the challenges with cancer claims. Our oncology nurses maintain their industry expertise through continuing education. The leaders at CancerBridge are also involved with professional organizations that foster thought leadership.

What is your company culture like?

The CancerBridge culture is member-focused – we put the member experience first. We’ve managed to maintain a high net promotor score because we believe in comprehensive care and operate from a place of caring for the entire person including their loved ones. A key aspect of who we are relies upon the diversity of our team members. We promote collaboration, transparency, independence, respect, and work-life harmony. From our technical skills to the way we individually think, we have an environment that bridges the gaps in public health.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

Having employees that align with the company culture and mission is critical. A successful employee at CancerBridge has a spirit of compassion and adaptability. Successful employees have a shared desire to improve the cancer experience for every patient. As our company continues to grow, our employees must be able to adapt to changes.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Columbus is the place to do business because of its people’s agility and ability to collaborate. The region is growth focused and always improving the business ecosystem for small, midsize, and large companies. There are many great employers who share the same values of empathy for their employees and their families.
