BMI Federal Credit Union is an award-winning financial institution serving central Ohio since 1936. Our exceptional member service and drive to make banking personal are the cornerstones of the Credit Union being voted Best Credit Union for the past 7 years in a row by CBUS Top Picks. Beyond the standard checking and savings accounts, BMI FCU offers money market accounts, certificates, credit cards, mortgage and home equity loans, auto loan financing and refinancing, HSAs, and more. In addition, we offer access to our free award-winning financial education program and financial coaching. BMI Federal Credit Union is member-owned, and open to everyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Franklin, Licking, Fairfield, Pickaway, Madison, Union, Delaware or Morrow County.

Our mission is to improve the financial lives of our credit union members and the community we serve. We best exemplify this through our exceptional products and services, our award-winning Financial Education Program, charitable giving efforts, and credit union advocacy. As a Credit Union, we value member service, integrity, compassion, responsibility, unity, and knowledge. Through our mission and values, we hope to empower our members and make banking personal.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

Attending the CEO Insights, Columbus Region Logistics Council (CRLC), Columbus Chamber Business Afterhours Networking, Columbus Chamber Annual Meeting, Women’s Collective Women in Leadership. We have been blessed with such high caliber of events being offered to us.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

The Credit Union remains nimble in an evolving industry. We understand the need for innovation, as the most common shifts in trends today are in technology. BMI Federal Credit Union adheres to these challenges with optimized Online Banking applications, enhanced security features, financial education and resource centers, and the latest in a suite of tools for improving financial convenience.

What is your company culture like?

BMI Federal Credit Union has a company culture founded on teamwork, inclusiveness, enjoyment, respect, and diligence. We have opportunities through staff-ran committees for collaboration on workplace initiatives, company health and wellness campaigns, and event planning and execution. We strive to have a motiving, exciting, and positive work environment where team members can feel valued and have opportunities to give back to our community through food and clothing drives, charitable giving, and volunteering with local organizations.
