Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services

For over 40 years ASW Global has been a third-party logistics (3PL) provider for local, national, and multinational companies. We provide a full range of supply chain management, material handling, order fulfillment, and asset management services. ASW operates over 700,000 sq. ft. of distribution space in Ohio. Our distribution centers are located within Foreign Trade Zone #181 and our quality management system is  ISO 9001:2015 certified. 

ASW is a certified Ohio MSDC MBE providing 3PL services to the polymer, industrial, and ecommerce markets. Services offered include: transloading, packaging, inventory management, order fulfillment, warehousing, branded merchandise fulfillment, and freight brokerage.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?

We look forward to meeting, networking, and collaborating with many of the Columbus Chamber members. We provide value-added supply chain services from which member companies can benefit. We anticipate meeting other members who offer products or services that we will find beneficial to our operations.

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?

We are active members of several industry associations including: IWLA, , Operation Clean Sweep, and ACD; and we participate in various local committees, including a polymer-focused group and a procurement-focused council. We are also active on social media and subscribe to industry-related news media to keep up to date on the latest industry trends. We participate in  industry specific tradeshows as well.

What is your company culture like?

We foster an environment that values diversity throughout our entire organization, our clients, and our suppliers. We promote inclusiveness in the interactions of people from different backgrounds and cultures, and we believe that our diversity creates a highly productive and creative workplace enabling us to provide excellent value to our clients. We have a Community Engagement Coordinator who works closely with HR to offer opportunities for our associates to volunteer with and donate to local non-profit organizations.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?

Our associates are successful because they work cohesively with each other and our clients.  They take pride in their work and are respectful of others. We have a wonderful mix of associates with a range of experience in the company, from 40 years to a few months.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?

Columbus seems to be in continuous growth mode. We see Columbus as an ideal place to do business based on location and opportunities available.
