Echelle Resources Names Samuel Davis Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer | Echelle Resources

DUBLIN, OH (November 13, 2024) – Echelle Resources, a leading international software engineering group specializing in custom software services for the automotive, healthcare and other key commercial industries, announces the appointment of Samuel Davis as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Samuel brings extensive experience in strategic technology planning, corporate partnerships, and digital transformation, further securing Echelle’s position as a leader in the software industry.

In his new role, Davis will oversee the development of Echelle’s technology strategy, foster corporate partnerships, and drive new revenue initiatives. Davis joins Echelle from his previous role as Chief Information Officer at the Franklin County Department of Jobs and Family Services, where he led information management for over 650 employees, impacting more than 1.2 million customers.

Samuel’s career also includes executive positions such as Head of Automation and Chief Technology Officer at Gordon Food Services, as well as Director of Software Engineering at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, where he was a member of the Corporate Technology Executive Cabinet.

He is the Founder and CEO of Good Sport Golf Club, which organizes charity golf tournaments to support nonprofit organizations, and he serves on the boards of the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio Association of County Boards. He is also a Community Board Member at COSI, where he advocates for STEM education.

Davis has received several awards and recognitions, including Who’s Who in Black Columbus 2023, the 2024 Columbus Smart 50 Award, and the Top 100 Global Tech Leaders Award.
