Columbus Chamber of Commerce Names 2025 Small Business Leader Award Finalists

Three Central Ohio business leaders to be honored at Chamber Annual Meeting, February 19

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce has named three finalists for its 2025 Small Business Leader Award presented by First Merchants Bank.

The award recipient will be announced and honored at the Columbus Chamber’s Annual Meeting, Ignite US | Fueling the Future of Columbus Together, on February 19.

The Small Business Leader Award is well-known and respected in the Columbus community for recognizing qualities like leadership, business excellence, and contributions to the community and has honored small business leaders for over thirty years.

The 2025 finalists include:

  • Chanda Brown, Walton + Brown LLP
  • Charlie Morrison, MCR Medical
  • Jeffrey Price, PLAN Logistics Solutions

Each finalist was selected following an extensive vetting process by a committee of judges considering a competitive set of criteria. Thank you to Kaiser Consulting for assisting us in the financial stability assessment process and thank you to our judges Danis, Exxcel Project Management, MMG Design, Schmidt’s, and A Tribe for Jazz. There is a great deal of preparation that goes into the selection process for this award.

The Chamber’s 2025 Annual Meeting will feature keynote speaker Ross Bjork with The Ohio State University Department of Athletics and presenters Derrick R. Clay with the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Lisa Courtice with the United Way of Central Ohio, Jason Hall with the Columbus Partnership, William Murdock with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, Amy Taylor with Downtown Columbus, and Monica Tellez-Fowler with the Central Ohio Transit Authority.
