November 29th, 2024

Columbus, Ohio – The Columbus Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Huntington Bank, is proud to present the Small Business Seeds for Growth event on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. This exciting initiative will be held at Franklin University’s Alumni Hall Ross Auditorium, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is designed to empower and uplift under-resourced small businesses in our community.

The Seeds for Growth program is a premier Huntington sponsored event that aims to foster growth by providing invaluable resources and opportunities for small business owners. Highlights of the event include:

  • Seed Money Initiative: Participants will receive Huntington “seed money” to shop the small business marketplace, directly supporting local entrepreneurs.
  • $10,000 in Grants: On behalf of Huntington, ten $1,000 grants will be awarded to small business applicants, giving them the tools and funding they need to thrive.
  • Networking and Resources: Attendees will have the chance to connect with industry experts, fellow business owners, and community leaders.

“This event exemplifies both organizations’ commitment to driving economic inclusion and growth within the Columbus Region,” said Abiona Harper, Columbus Chamber Program Coordinator. “By providing these opportunities, we’re planting the seeds for future success and innovation among our small business community.”

The event is free to attend, with lunch provided, but registration is required to secure your spot.
