The CHIPS Act represents a transformational opportunity for the Columbus Region—one that strengthens our economy, bolsters national security, and creates thousands of high-quality jobs. As we continue to position Central Ohio as a hub for innovation and advanced manufacturing, investments in semiconductor production will not only fuel economic growth but also ensure that our workforce is prepared for the jobs of the future. 

At the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, we recognize that a thriving business ecosystem depends on access to a skilled and competitive workforce. The CHIPS Act allows our region to build that talent pipeline, providing opportunities for individuals to enter high-tech, high-wage careers while also supporting the broader supply chain and small businesses that benefit from this growth.
