R&T Staffing’s HR Director Wins DEIB Professional of the Year at HRACO Event

We are thrilled to share that our HR Director, Surendra, was honored with the DEIB Professional of the Year award at the recent Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO) event! This award recognizes his unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all employees at R&T Staffing and his impactful work in fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) across our organization.

The HRACO event, which celebrates outstanding HR leaders and initiatives, highlighted the work being done across Central Ohio to promote diversity in the workplace. Surendra stood out for his relentless focus on building a culture where every team member feels respected, regardless of their background or identity.

Since joining R&T Staffing, Surendra has been the driving force behind several key DEIB initiatives, including launching multilingual onboarding programs to ensure that our diverse workforce can thrive from day one. He has also led the way in establishing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that provide a platform for underrepresented employees to have their voices heard, and he continues to champion policies that create opportunities for professional growth for all employees.

Beyond the walls of R&T Staffing, Surendra actively engages with local organizations that support New Americans, immigrants, and refugees. His efforts have helped connect these communities with meaningful employment opportunities, further solidifying R&T Staffing’s reputation as an inclusive, community-oriented company.
