Outdoor summer concert festival ignites excitement within Polaris Fashion Place

With summer right around the corner, Polaris Fashion Place is thrilled to announce LIVE @ Polaris presents Summerfest, powered by Wright-Patt Credit Union; a spin on last year’s concert series events.

“Live outdoor music brings people together and we are thrilled to offer that platform once again this year with the return of LIVE @ Polaris,” said Tamra Bower, General Manager at Polaris Fashion Place. “We received such positive feedback from guests last year who said this was their favorite day of the summer – when Polaris Fashion Place offered free live music to compliment a beautiful summer evening.” 

This year, ‘LIVE @ Polaris presents Summerfest’ will take place on Saturday, July 26 from 2:00pm – 9:00pm; located in the grand entrance parking lot.  Event programming will showcase two local Ohio bands with genres ranging from country to classic rock.  Other event elements will feature various food trucks, alcohol sales benefiting local charities, vendors giving away prizes, free face painting and balloon twisting for kids, yard games, and more! Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the evening in comfort.  

Returning this year, LIVE @ Polaris is sponsored by Wright-Patt Credit Union, the largest member-owned credit union in Ohio.  Polaris Fashion Place is also partnering with 93.3 The Bus and 92.3 WCOL of iHeart Radio as the concert media outlet; and the Epilepsy Alliance of Ohio to assist with on-site alcohol sales. In the same parking lot, FUNBOX activation will be taking place simultaneously.  FUNBOX is the “world’s biggest bounce park” where you can jump, climb, and race through inflatable obstacle courses for nonstop fun!  FUNBOX will be open from May 23 – September 1 and is a separate ticketed activity for kids and families.

Stage event rundown:

2:00pm – 4:00pm – Town & Country (Rock and country music, both classic and new – from Columbus, Ohio)

5:00pm – 9:00pm – The Menus (70s classic rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio)
