February 22nd, 2024

February 19, 2024 – Powell, OH – Optimum Technology, Inc., announces it has been awarded a co-operative purchasing agreement with the State of Texas, Department of Information Resources (DIR).

The DIR contract is made available to any state and local government agency in the United States to streamline and expedite the purchase of Optimum’s law enforcement software. The DIR-CPO-5309 contract was competitively bid and meets the requirements for a competitive purchase process for state and local government. This allows those agencies to purchase from Optimum Technology through the DIR contract and meet their competitive bid requirements without the need to release a formal request for proposal or quotation.

Optimum’s CEO Josh Davda said “This allows public safety agencies to avoid a 6 to 12 month or longer delay in buying critical law enforcement software that help those agencies keep their communities safe.”
