Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services:
OHM Advisors is the community advancement firm. Founded in 1962, we deliver award-winning work across the architecture, engineering, planning, urban design and landscape architecture, surveying, and construction engineering spheres.

With three Ohio offices and 13 more in multiple states, our 550+ person team partners with leaders at all levels of the public and private sectors—including municipalities, state and federal agencies, Fortune 100 companies, developers, schools, universities, and more.

Our goal is that every community thrives in its own way. No cookie cutter solutions here. We work hand-in-hand with our clients to create savvy solutions that encourage smart, strategic community advancement.

Our mission is simple: Advancing Communities. This singular forward-thinking focus on putting the needs of people first in our solutions drives our thinking and innovation from conception through completion—and guides us in everything we do.

Our experts are actively involved in several industry organizations. Staying connected allows us to stay abreast of best practices, remain current with what our clients need, and in-the-know about what  industry peers are doing.

We support and encourage employees to attend and take leadership roles in industry-related groups, conferences, workshops and events, keeping us in tune with the latest trends and innovations.

Additionally, we firmly believe that general skill-building and learning is foundational to employees – and the firm’s – professional success. Which is why we offer continuously evolving in-house training opportunities. Programs focus on technical skills and software, personal development, management, financial, and corporate growth.

Please describe your company culture:
As a four-time recipient of the Crain’s Detroit Business “Cool Place to Work” award, it’s true that we offer ‘cool’ options and benefits to our employees.
