Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services
BBI Logistics is a freight brokerage startup located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. We offer a wide range of logistics services including but not limited to: full truckload, less-than truckload, expedited, intermodal, oversized and specialized. Our first 4 years of business have generated rapid growth in the dynamic industry of supply chain logistics!

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
As a new member of the Columbus Chamber, we are looking forward to utilizing the many resources provided and making meaningful connections through networking opportunities. We hope to bring awareness to BBI’s services and commitment to Columbus as our headquarters for our rapidly-growing company!

How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
The transportation industry is constantly changing and evolving so adapting with new tools and technology is key. We built technology in-house that allows us to capture a wide variety of data sets and analyze trends real time. The customization of technology also allows us to change things on the fly based on our customer/carriers wants and needs.

What is your company culture like?
Here at BBI, we really strive to be a company that our employees are proud of! We were voted Best Places to Work 2 years in a row (2019 and 2020) and we maintain this amazing environment with teamwork and a work hard/play hard mentality. We are a family in and out of the office because we believe life is better with BBI.

What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
We are comprised of dedicated and reliable employees who are able and willing to put in the work! Our team members have a passion for our core values of integrity, teamwork, and philanthropy. They are skilled, hard workers who bring a fun energy to the office.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
There is a terrific work-force pipeline produced by the 100,000-plus graduate students in the area at Ohio State University and 54 other colleges in the region. And with such a diverse economy of retail, apparel, and manufacturing industries, combined with a central location (10-hour drive from almost 50% of U.S. markets), the Columbus Region is an ideal location for supply chain and distribution operations and facilities.
