For the Second Year in a Row, Aim Named a Most Loved Workplace® | AIM Transportation Solutions

June 14th, 2024

Columbus, OH – June 13, 2024 – For the second year in a row, Aim Transportation Solutions, with a location at 4182 Janitrol Road, Columbus, OH 43228, has been certified as a Most Loved Workplace® through the Best Practice Institute (BPI). BPI’s prestigious Most Loved Workplace® certification provides the most comprehensive look at workplace sentiment for organizations today, spotlighting companies where employees are happiest and most satisfied at work.

Based on employee responses and feedback, the Most Loved Workplace® certification is founded on rigorous criteria, including employee satisfaction, collaboration and overall workplace culture. Aim’s repeated achievement of this highly sought-after honor underscores the company’s continued dedication to its employees and its mission to create a family-like atmosphere where everyone is supported and can thrive.

“In 2023 Aim was not only certified as a Most Loved Workplace® but was listed in Newsweek Magazine among the top 100 Most Loved Workplaces in the United States,” said Jessica Deane, Aim’s Vice President of Marketing. “Aim’s 2024 certification is an important milestone, and Aim is hopeful to make the Top 100 in 2024 as well.”

Jessica Deane has spearheaded Aim’s effort in certification in past years along with Aim’s recently retired Chief Human Resources Officer, Patty Durkin.

“This recognition is a testament to our team’s hard work and commitment to making Aim a great place to work,” said Scott Fleming, President of Aim Transportation Solutions. “As a family-owned and -operated business, the idea of family is at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that when our employees are happy and engaged, they can provide the best possible service to our customers.”

That idea of family that Aim’s president, Scott Fleming, referenced is part and parcel of how Aim takes care of its customers, communities and, of course, employees. It’s also an idea that is infused into the company’s culture. That is, if you ask any Aim employee—whether it’s a truck driver, diesel mechanic or someone in the office—what they love most about Aim, more often than not, they’ll cite the company’s family-like atmosphere.

Backed by BPI, in its original research that created MLW criteria, Most Loved Workplaces surveyed more than 175 companies and more than 3,000 executives across the United States, the Middle East/Northern Africa and Southeast Asia. They found that productivity rises as employee sentiment increases, with 94 percent of responders saying they did three to four times more work for a company they loved and 95 percent saying they stayed at companies they loved three to four times longer. Most Loved Workplaces certification is the most valid method to determine employee experience and recognize a great workplace.

Aim Transportation Solutions’ diverse, inclusive, family culture is a place for anyone and everyone to grow and succeed. A testament to this is the fact that several members of Aim’s leadership team started in entry-level positions and rose to their prominent roles because their hard work and determination was matched by Aim’s continuous support and opportunities. Additionally, there are countless Aim employees who haven’t just been with the company for years; they’ve been with the company for decades.

All of this speaks to Aim offering the opportunities and resources one might expect from a big corporation without losing sight of its most valuable and appreciated asset: its people.

Those people take extraordinary pride in supporting one of America’s most important and vital functions, the supply chain.  They do that through comprehensive fleet services and solutions, including full-service leasing, commercial truck rentals, dedicated contract carriage, truck maintenance and repair, and third-party logistics.

Being a great workplace means far more than just a great company culture, though. Aim employees also enjoy exceptional benefits, such as excellent and affordable health insurance, a generous 401(k) matching program, paid holidays, vacation time, a great work-life balance and more.

Aim has a variety of positions in all fields within the transportation industry such as truck driving, diesel equipment maintenance and repair, operations, safety, human resources, accounting, technology support and development, sales, marketing, roadside assistance and beyond.
