How do we build well-being into workplace culture? What are the tools and skills needed to foster quality relationships and connections with colleagues and employees? How do we foster an environment where the organization works together cohesively, and the well-being of all is prioritized?
In this experiential session, we will address these questions by exploring the following elements: creating a quality culture, the neuroscience of navigating relationships and fostering connection and practicing tools/skills on the ground to improve communication. We propose that together these elements offer easy ways to further integrate well-being into workplace culture.

1:15 – 2:15 p.m. WINSday: How to Use Possibility, Positivity & Celebration All (Work)Day Long
Katy Tombaugh | Founder & CEO, Wellness Collective
What might change (for you and your teams) if every workday was centered around optimism and consistent celebration? Having an optimistic outlook on life – a general expectation that good things will happen – may help people live longer, according to a new study from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Furthermore, according to the Mayo Clinic, health benefits provided by positive thinking may include better cardiovascular health and reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease, better coping skills during hardships and times of stress, better psychological and physical well-being, greater resistance to the common cold, lower rates of depression, lower levels of distress and increased life span.
When we expect the good, and notice the good, we can further the momentum by spreading the good. To celebrate means to honor and praise publicly, and we can shape a workplace and workday that gets really good at precisely this!
