The 48th Annual Woody Hayes Celebrity Classic | Nationwide Children’s Hospital

The 48th Annual Woody Hayes Celebrity Classic, a new featured event of Play Yellow, will be
held on Monday, June 3, 2024. Honoring Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, this event, gives you the
opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many. Over the last forty-seven years, this
special event has raised more than $2.9 million to support children in central Ohio and beyond.
The day will begin with a VIP Meet and Greet with Jack and Barbara Nicklaus followed by
Breakfast & Conversation. Snacks will be served on the course and golfers will join back at New
Albany Country Club for a Post Round Awards & Celebration.
All proceeds benefit The Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The Institute is focused on discovery an improved treatment for a serious childhood illness, an
exciting new insight into a basic biological process, a pioneering strategy to prevent injury or
disease, or an innovative way to deliver care to the most vulnerable of our children.
Indeed, discovery through cutting edge biomedical research is at the very heart of Nationwide
Children’s Hospital’s mission. That is why our scientists and physician investigators work
tirelessly in the quest of new knowledge to improve the lives of children and their families.
