Chamber Service Day | Earth Day at Linden Park: Park Cleanup & Garden Prep
April 19 @ 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
In celebration of Earth Day, join the Columbus Chamber of Commerce at Linden Park with Keep Columbus Beautiful! As a volunteer, you’ll help with general park cleanup and prepping the pollinator garden.Â
- Schedule:
- 8:30AM – 9:00AM : Coffee Gathering at the open-air shelter house
- 9:00AM – 12:00PM : Volunteering Event
- 12:00PM – 12:30PM : Ice Cream Celebration at the open-air shelter house
- Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required. Please dress for the weather & wear clothing you don’t mind getting messy! We recommend dressing in layers.
- Parking: Parking is available onsite in the surface lot.
- All supplies will be provided. Keep Columbus Beautiful Staff will be onsite.
- Volunteers are encouraged to bring a bottle of water and wear sunscreen since you will be working outdoors!
- Volunteering takes place rain or shine! For instances of more inclement weather (snow, storms, etc.), Besa will inform volunteers via email of any cancellation or delays via email at least 1 hour prior to the shift.
- Unfortunately, this event is not ADA accessible.
