About Ismael: Ismael Valenzuela, VP of Threat Research and Intelligence at BlackBerry, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 23 years of expertise. In his role, he spearheads threat research, cyber threat intelligence, and defensive innovation. As a SANS senior instructor, IANS Research Faculty member, and holder of the prestigious GIAC Security Expert (GSE) certification, Ismael is an industry luminary. With a rich background leading security roles for Foundstone, Intel, and McAfee, he also founded one of Spain’s earliest IT security consultancies. Ismael’s advisory contributions extend to governments, critical infrastructure entities globally, and he is a sought-after speaker at major cybersecurity conferences, including BlackHat, RSA, and SANS Cyber Security Summits.
About Tyler: Tyler Smith is the Co-Founder of Dark Rhiino Security and Chief Technical Officer. He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He studied Political Science and International Studies, Security and Intelligence at The Ohio State University. He has worked in security and technology since 2011 and has worked in technical roles for Apple Inc., OhioHealth, Reid Elsevier Technology Services/Lexis Nexis, Toyota, Federated Investors, Honda of America Mfg, the US Department of Transportation, to name a few.
