Columbus Region Logistics Council Honors Women in Supply Chain & Logistics with INSPIRE AWARD

March 17th, 2025

The Columbus Region Logistics Council (CRLC) proudly recognized three outstanding women in the supply chain and logistics industry as finalists for the prestigious INSPIRE AWARD at the annual Women in Supply Chain & Logistics event. The award celebrates individuals who exemplify teamwork, leadership, innovation, and community commitment in the logistics sector.

This year’s finalists were:

  • Samantha Allen, Director of Account Management, FST Logistics
  • Krista Pohlman, EVP – Operations, Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc.
  • Katie Wike, Director of Solution Design, ODW Logistics

Following a rigorous selection process, Samantha Allen was named the 2025 INSPIRE AWARD Winner for her exceptional contributions to the industry. Samantha’s dedication to fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and making a positive impact in the community set her apart as a true leader in logistics.

As highlighted in her nomination, Samantha Allen is a transformational leader at FST Logistics, driving teamwork, innovation, and growth. She led the Dallas expansion, securing $10M in new business, and successfully onboarded Vitamin Well, overcoming complex EDI and emission standard challenges.

Her strategic problem-solving ensured a smooth warehouse launch in Dallas/Fort Worth, strengthening client partnerships and setting a high bar for operational excellence.

Beyond work, Sam is a community champion, leading $110K in fundraising and inspiring 5,000+ volunteer hours as Compass President. A unanimous pick for the INSPIRE AWARD, she is truly the heart of FST.

“The INSPIRE AWARD recognizes the remarkable achievements of women who are shaping the future of supply chain and logistics,” said Christine Boucher, Director of the Columbus Region Logistics Council at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. “Samantha, Katie, and Krista exemplify the leadership, ingenuity, and dedication that propel our industry forward.”

The Columbus Region Logistics Council extends its gratitude to all nominees, finalists, CRLC Advisory Board, and attendees for making this event a success.
