ClearView Management Resources and Columbus Chamber of Commerce Announce O-SCAN to Strengthen Ohio’s Supply Chain Workforce

February 7th, 2025

ClearView Management Resources, in partnership with the Columbus Chamber of Commerce Columbus Region Logistics Council (CRLC), is proud to announce the Ohio Supply Chain Academic Network (O-SCAN), formed in 2019, has been awarded a grant from the State of Ohio to establish an Industry Sector Partnership (ISP) for Supply Chain and Logisticsin the Central Region of Ohio (Franklin County and surrounding counties).

This initiative, awarded by Governor Mike DeWine’s Office as part of a statewide effort to enhance workforce collaboration, will bring together business leaders, educators, workforce development organizations, and policymakers to address the growing demand for skilled talent in the supply chain and logistics sectors. O-SCAN will serve as a hub for industry-driven solutions, helping employers connect with education and training providers to ensure Ohio remains a leader in supply chain excellence.

“The supply chain and logistics sector is the backbone of Ohio’s economy. With this grant, we are taking a strategic step to build a pipeline of skilled professionals who can support and drive industry growth,” said Josh Compton, Chief Operating Officer of ClearView Management Resources. “Through O-SCAN, we will unite key stakeholders to create sustainable solutions for workforce development, bridging the gap between education and industry needs.”

O-SCAN will focus on:

  1. Expanding Career Awareness and Pathways in supply chain and logistics for students and job seekers
  2. Aligning Training Programs with in-demand skills and industry-recognized credentials
  3. Strengthening Employer-Educator Partnerships to ensure a direct pipeline of talent
  4. Leveraging Data-Driven Insights to identify workforce gaps and training opportunities

This partnership builds on O-SCAN’s success in raising awareness and advancing supply chain education in Central Ohio. With ClearView and the Columbus Chamber’s strong network of business leaders and community stakeholders, O-SCAN is now poised to expand its impact by driving industry collaboration and workforce development.

“With the continuing growth of the supply chain industry in the Columbus Region, developing this ISP and moving the needle forward is something that is desperately needed,” said Christine Boucher, Director of the CRLC with the Columbus Chamber. “We are excited to be a part of the effort in supplying the supply chain with the necessary talent that is needed now and way into the future.”
