February 9th, 2023

Stacie Boord, CEO & Featured Performer, Shadowbox Live

The Columbus Chamber has honored Small Business Leaders for over thirty years. These leaders rise above the rest and have substantiated success and leadership, increased sales, workforce and contributions to the community. The Small Business Leader Award honors any owner, founder, president, managing partner or CEO whose business exemplifies success through increased sales, number of employees and contributions to the community. These are the elite, the best of the best.

Stacie Boord, CEO and featured performer of Shadowbox Live, was selected as the recipient of the 2023 Columbus Chamber of Commerce Small Business Leader Award!

Columbus’ Shadowbox Live is the nation’s largest resident theatre ensemble. While Stacie will tell you that she never imagined herself becoming Shadowbox’s CEO, her passion for “sharing the joy” of the performing arts made her the ideal choice to lead Shadowbox Live into a new era of growth.  As CEO, she has been recognized as a Top Non-Profit CEO from Business First C-Suite Awards in 2019 and 2020 and a Top Non-Profit Innovator, by City Pulse Columbus in 2019.

“What Stacie and her team have accomplished is nothing short of amazing. For a dinner theater and live music venue to thrive for 35 years is virtually unheard of. We congratulate her on this wonderful honor.” said Don DePerro, President and CEO of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce.

Stacie currently sits on the Columbus Cultural Leaders Consortium, Ohio Citizens for the Arts Board, and the Gateway Film Center Advisory Council. She is a member of the Conscious Capitalism Columbus, National Musical Theater Association Theatre Communications Group, Columbus Metropolitan Club, and the 2020 Club.

Stacie graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and completed two years of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Bachelor of Education in Music Education.

Congratulations, Stacie!
