The addition of these advanced rigid box machines allows Accel, Inc. to manufacture a variety of rigid boxes in-house, including EDP and book boxes, significantly enhancing production eficiency and flexibility. By integrating the production of rigid boxes directly into its packaging process, Accel can ofer clients a vertically integrated solution, delivering cost savings, reduced lead times, and superior quality. This new capability positions Accel as one of the few companies in Central Ohio ofering comprehensive rigid box manufacturing and assembly services under one roof.

Accel’s rigid box manufacturing process sets a new standard for sustainability by cutting pallet usage by 96% and reducing trucking needs by 95%, leading to a reduction of hundreds of tons of carbon emissions annually. Clients can also achieve significant cost savings—up to $1.4 million for the first 4 million boxes produced—due to reductions in shipping containers, pallet costs, and supply chain miles.
