Andy Hardy serves as the Vice President of Government Relations at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. With over 20 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, and community engagement, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in building strategic partnerships, driving legislative initiatives, and advocating for policies that support economic growth.

In his role, Andy leads the Chamber’s government relations strategies, serving as a key liaison between the Columbus Region’s business community and local, state, and federal policymakers. His work focuses on advancing initiatives that promote business prosperity and regional competitiveness.

Before joining the Columbus Chamber, Andy served as External Affairs Manager at OhioHealth, where he helped direct over $405 million in community reinvestment, secure key grants and funding, and build relationships with public and private stakeholders. His career also includes leadership roles at Strategic Public Partners and the Ohio Department of Insurance. Andy began his public affairs journey on Capitol Hill as part of U.S. Congressman Patrick J. Tiberi’s legislative team, contributing to significant policy achievements in infrastructure funding and tax reform.

Andy is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a degree in Political Science. He is passionate about fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors to drive sustainable growth in the Columbus Region.
